MANHATTAN, N.Y (PIX11) — A seaplane made a hard landing in the water near the New York Skyport with 10 people aboard, fire officials said. The call came in at 12:01 p.m. on Sunday reporting a plane in the water.

Video of first responders going to the scene of a seaplane that made an emergency landing on the East River has been released by the NYPD on Monday.

Meanwhile, a seaplane was forced to make a hard landing in New York City's East River on Sunday.
