Replying to @ash we need some scones and jam, STAT! 🫖🥛🇬🇧 the clotted cream doesn’t taste like cream top, but the thick layer directly underneath the crust has a similar texture! i think baking it for 12 hours brings out more nutty notes, similar to how brown butter makes things taste more nutty after being heated up the taste and the texture of crust was a bit overwhelming for me, but i think some jam and a scone will fix things… stay tuned 👀 #creamtea #clottedcream #tastetest #creamtop #mi
