Mongolian beef1 1/2 pounds flank or skirt steak sliced thin against the grain1 bunch green onion1/2 cup brown sugar 1 tsp ginger paste3 cloves crushed garlic1/4 cup water1/2 cup corn starchSesame oil or vegetable oil1/2 cup soy sauce Coat sliced steak with cornstarch. In a large skillet put sesame oil or vegetable oil to coat the bottom of the pan and cook flank steak about 2 to 3 minutes per side over medium high heat until a crust forms. Remove from the pan and repeat until all beef is cooked.
