We crossed the Mississippi River to attend the @practicalfarmer conference this weekend. I was asked to speak on Sheep and Wool production. We have admired the Practical Farmers of Iowa for many years but this was our first year attending their conference and we were so impressed. The topics were great and the atmosphere was wonderful. Conference sparks youth passion for writing

Fourth Grade had an amazing morning enjoying and learning at The Young Authors Conference hosted by Samford University today at Trace! They got to enjoy meeting and listening to Nell Branum, the author of R Is for Rosie the Riveter. Then our wonderful Samford interns taught a writing lesson in each 4th grade classroom!
